IHG One Rewards “Straight to Diamond Challenge” Registration Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for the IHG One Rewards “Straight to Diamond Challenge” promotion (“Promotion”), an individual must be a full-time employee of a company that has been expressly invited by IHG to partake in the Promotion. To participate in the Promotion, the individual must be invited by IHG Sales Team or/and any brand’s hotels in Greater China region: Mainland China, Hongkong, Macau, and Taiwan (“nominator hotels”) and must pass the identity audit by IHG. To register, the eligible individual must have an IHG One Rewards member account and must register under their member number.

Terms of IHG RSO team Nomination-Key Negotiation Accounts registration

  • To increase the member loyalty, the IHG Greater China Support Centre is offering employees of selected Key Negotiation Accounts (KNRs) in Greater China the chance to participating IHG One Rewards Straight to Diamond promotion based on the below requirements: The list of KNR companies participating in the Straight to Diamond Promotion will only be provided by the IHG sales team.
    Each KNR company nominated to participate in the event has a limit on the number of employees who can participate in the campaign. IHG RSO team will provide a specific web page for selected KNRs to submit the application to participate this promotion. The employees of the selected KNRs must submit their name, IHG One Rewards membership number, mobile number and email address which using KNR email suffix by 25 May 2024 based on the requirement of information submission of this Promotion. Submission can be only considered successfully after completing the verification of the validity of the email.
  • Once information has been submitted, it cannot be modified.
  • All the submission will be reviewed by the IHG Greater China Support Centre. The audit and registration for the Promotion for nominated customers will be completed before June 1, 2024.
  • After the review has been completed, a notification of the outcome will be sent via email (elite.status@ihg.com) and/or SMS. If approved, customers will be upgraded to IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite status, which will be valid for a 90-day trial and can start enjoying the associated benefits. A member with twelve (12) qualifying nights during this period will keep their IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite status through to the end of December 2025.
  • A member’s participation in the IHG One Rewards program and a nominee’s participation in this Promotion is subject to the standard IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, and which can be obtained here or by visiting ihgonerewards.com.
  • Nominations will be rejected under any of the following circumstances:
    1. The nominee is already an IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite member
    2. The nominee has been nominated before
    3. The member ID is incorrect
    4. The rate code is not eligible (must be a five-letter rate code generated by GRS and belong to the KNR)
    5. The nominee's account has previously been suspended due to a violation of the Member Terms & Conditions
    6. The nominee has made no contributions.

2024 Alibaba IHG One Rewards Straight to Diamond Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for the IHG One Rewards "Alibaba Straight to Diamond" promotion ("Promotion"), an individual must be a full-time employee of Alibaba that has been expressly invited by IHG to partake in the Promotion. To participate in the Promotion, the individual must be invited by IHG Sales Team. To register, the eligible individual must have an IHG One Rewards member account and must register under their member number.

  • If the individual is not already an IHG One Rewards member at the time they seek to register for the Promotion, they can enroll in the IHG One Rewards program prior to registering, at no cost.
  • The registration will not be open for the public. This offer is limited to members in Greater China Region (Mainland China, Hongkong, Macau, and Taiwan) only. Members already with Diamond Elite status cannot participate in this offer. IHG will be responsible to complete the Promotion registration process for all qualified individuals invited by IHG Sales Team from Alibaba. Once a member passes the identity audit and is registered for the Promotion, the member will automatically be upgraded to IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite status and can start enjoying the associated benefits. This Promotion is only available to the employees from Alibaba invited by IHG . This promotion has a limited quota of 2000 participants. Members of Alibaba Company are responsible for the membership number they submit to participate in the campaign. IHG reserves the right to filter out invalid or erroneous member registration information. If such members fail to participate due to incorrect submission, IHG will not be responsible for re-registering them for the campaign.
  • The promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other status match or fast track offers and promotion. Alibaba employees who successfully participate in the Diamond Challenge held from June to August 2024 and earn Diamond Elite Status (valid until December 31, 2025) are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
  • A member's upgrade to Diamond Elite status through this Promotion will remain in effect for the 90-day period immediately following their registration for the Promotion. A member, however, can keep their IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite status through the end of December 2025 by having a certain number of qualifying night stays during their 90-day post-registration period (the "Stay Period"). Specifically, a member with twelve (12) qualifying nights during their Stay Period will keep their IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite status through the end of December 2025. By way of example, a member who registers on November 18th, 2024 will have a 90-day Stay Period beginning on the date of registration (November 18th, 2024) and ending 90 days later, on February 15th, 2025, to complete their twelve (12) qualifying nights and keep Diamond Elite status through the end of December 2025. If before offer end date, the registered member finds that the validity period of the Diamond status is different in the terms and conditions showing in IHG One Rewards account in the official channel, please refer to the 90-day validity period stated in the promotion. Room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration of the Promotion are not included.
  • Promotion Application Period for Alibaba: November 6th to November 14th, 2024
  • Identity Review Period for IHG: November 15th to November 19th, 2024
  • Promotion Stay Period: November 20th, 2024 to February 17th ,2025
  • To be a qualifying night under this Promotion, the room night must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay, and the room night must fall within the member's Stay Period. Room nights prior to registration for the Promotion or outside of the member's Stay Period are not included. A "Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay" is a minimum one (1)-night stay booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a room rate exceeding US $30 (or local currency equivalent) for each night. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com do not qualify under this Promotion. If more than one member checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to count the room nights towards the Promotion (for those nights that qualify). If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will only receive credit for qualifying nights for one room.
  • Diamond Elite status awarded under this Promotion will be reflected in the member's IHG One Rewards account following registration for the Promotion and, if applicable, will be extended through December 2025 following completion of the number of qualifying nights required to achieve an extension of their Diamond Elite status through this Promotion. The standard requirements for achieving various levels of Elite status under the IHG One Rewards program, which would apply once any Diamond Elite status awarded or earned in connection with this special Promotion expires, are included in the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be found here.
  • If IHG discovers that ineligible individuals are registering or attempting to register for the Promotion, upon verification, IHG may immediately revoke that member's eligibility to participate. IHG may also retract Diamond Elite status granted under this Promotion, and withdraw any points associated with such upgraded status from the member's account, if such status was awarded in error or if the member was not eligible to participate.
  • A member's participation in the IHG One Rewards program and this Promotion are subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be found here or by visiting www.ihg.com/onerewards. IHG expressly reserves the right to remove a member's points, downgrade their status, or cancel their account if fraudulent use of the Promotion is detected, or any other fraudulent or prohibited activity related to a member's account. A member's participation in this Promotion or other restricted rate offerings is subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, including any of the identified actions that may be taken in response to such activity. This promotional offer is valid only for the intended eligible individuals who received the offer to participate in the Promotion and cannot be transferred or conveyed. Members must make any inquiries regarding this Promotion within 60 days of the end of the offer (the "Objection Period").
